The final result was an extremely sensitive film, which captures the every essence of our hotel, and the copy used is outstanding, as is the selection of the background score.

I must say that we all here at Deer Park Hotel enjoying reading the article about our resort in your magazine. The article was very well written and ofcourse your photographs are amazing as usual. I was reading the article with one of my friends from head office and even he commented that the shot of the swimming pool is like a picture from paradise. He kept asking me to tell him how you managed to light up the area etc., and I told him that is not an artificial lighting but natural sunlight which photographers had to wait for a right time to catch.

 

I am also pleased to inform you that we have received all our collaterals and I am sending you a copy. We also have very big posters with an advertisement and obviously it looks fantastic since all the photos in the poster are yours.

Working with Sudhir was inspirational. A photographer who didn't rely on Photoshop to get the morning blues or the evening gold's, his knowledge of light and day set the tone for the calendar. What was more impressive was that here was a photographer who was as knowledgeable about modern gadgets as he was with traditional techniques. The combination of the two was a lesson for all of us aspirants.

 

Sudhir's tranquil outlook to life as well as his work helped considering we were two units shooting simultaneously. First to rise and the last to sleep, his obsession with pre-production and detailing laid the foundations for a smooth shoot and a great calendar.

His photographs brought out genuinity of everyone's excitement and fun at the function. At my wedding I loved the long shots that enveloped different people in its frame, and their facial expressions towards the particular ongoing ceremony. The photographs that showed both Arjun & me giggling after the pheras were over, is particularly my favourite, as we looked like two kids who'd just finished winning a game!

 

His photography is not standard posed photos but candid shots taken of close family reactions to that moment, yet maintaining the essence of the scene, and that is what makes his photographs special, and a collectors piece for generations to come...Truly making him one of the best photographers to reckon with, in the Country!!!
